    What Jennifer says: Special Thanks





    Thanks to everyone who attended the Madison City Chamber “Business after Hours” at Norfolk Homes and the Preserve at Limestone Creek last night.

    When sponsoring or attending networking events of this nature, I often wondered if the attendees really utilize the time wisely by meeting other businesses and asking for the business, sale or referral.  What I observed last night was a classic example of why these types of events can be very valuable to your bottom line and pipeline.  Networking is a great way of building relationships, while building your business net worth.  It is a great way to meet new people while enjoying great food, decadent desserts and in our case a beautifully decorated model home in the Preserve at Limestone Creek.
    So, at the next networking event you attend; don’t forget to zip out the business card, ask for the sale, business or referral.  That’s what it is all about, even though the food, fun and sometimes laughter from the engaging conversations and smiles can be a bit misleading, only if you let it.

    Ask for the business, I just did.  

    “The referral of your friends and family is the greatest compliment you can give me.”
